After I did the never-ending Christmas posts I realized I still had pictures left over that I hadn't posted and want to remember!
The weekend before Christmas Brode and I made a gingerbread house! It was a cold slushy day outside so it was nice to spend the afternoon in decorating. Yes, we used the pre-built house and added all the fun stuff.
He was very serious about where things were placed. I got the front and back and he was in charge of the roof and sides. I am also proud to say more of the candy did actually make it on the house instead of in his mouth but he did sneak a few pieces!

I am always struggling to find a good teachers gift. Between Christmas and Teacher Appreciation Week we are always looking for something new and creative. Pinterest has really helped out this year but then I never really got around to creating anything cool. I'm sure I'll master it by the time he graduates high school.
Brode gave Ms. Jamie and Ms. Rebeckah these little ceramic candy dishes with a candle, chocolate truffles, picture holder ornaments, and Starbucks gift cards in them for Christmas. We also handmade gift card holders with a thank you note on how much we appreciate them and all they do for Brode to make sure is happy and comfortable every day.
I found all the little trinkets at Michaels then added in the gift cards because they are always coming in in the morning with large cups of coffee to keep up with Brode and all his little friends all day (those boys are crazy!).
