I wanted to post some pictures of my gingerbread house! Grandma Beth had me, Matt's cousin Megan, and his Aunt Kay over yesterday to make gingebread houses! I've never made a house before, but it was a lot of fun. I was very nervous it was going to turn out funny looking. If you haven't ever done this before I suggest you try! It was a fun festive project similar to carving pumpkins on Halloween (and possibly just as messy). It was a good girls afternoon activity, it would be fun for older children.... but the boys and men, well Matt proved to us they just want to eat the candy. One suggestion -- you can get them premade with the house part already put together, this is the way to go, it can save you a lot of frustration later when you're deocrating, you don't have to worry about the walls or roof caving.

There are so many different ways you ca decorate them. Even between the 4 of us we had a lot of differences, but also gave each other great ideas!
